MONDAY, MONDAY

The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues - Elizabeth Taylor

  •                          35g porridge oats (b)
BREAKFAST - porridge using HE (a) & (b), 1 tsp Sainsbury's half fat creme fraiche (makes it taste creamy!), 2 tsp granulated sweetener, 2 cups tea with milk from HE (a)  Total 0.5 syns

VICE - (n.) A moral fault or failing; especially, immoral conduct or habit, as in the indulgence of degrading appetites
I used to eat in secret. Don't know why, 'cos my husband let's me make my own decisions and gives me support in however I choose to conduct myself.  That's one of the reasons why I love him.  So I suppose secret eating could be called a vice and, as I don't do it any more, I've been wondering what other vices I have.  After all, nobody's perfect.

Here's one -  I lust after shoes that I couldn't possibly wear these days. Gorgeous!

Another vice, and totally immoral, is my tendency to buy things and then never use them/throw them away/give them away.  This habit is very bad, especially when I do it with food but I am very much on the road to redemption in this case since I now like to plan ahead for meals and so buy only what I need.  Other things (clothes, electronics, kitchen paraphernalia) still tempt me!
